All work is carried out in accordance with current industry standards and manufacturer guidelines for the products and systems used. The specific scope of work for each project is defined in the written quotation provided after a survey or inspection. Any work not listed in the quotation is excluded unless agreed in writing beforehand. Quotations and validity ----------------------- Quotations are based on the conditions observed at the time of survey. They remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. After this period, we reserve the right to revise the quotation to reflect any changes in material costs or site conditions. If additional work is needed once a project has started — for example, due to concealed damage not visible during the original survey — we will discuss the extra work and cost with you before proceeding. Payment terms ------------- Payment terms are set out in the quotation. Unless otherwise agreed: - A deposit may be required before work begins, as stated in the quotation - The remaining balance is due on completion of the agreed work - Payment can be made by bank transfer or other methods confirmed in writing If payment is not received within 14 days of the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest at the statutory rate permitted under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Warranty and guarantee ---------------------- We guarantee our workmanship on all completed projects. The type and duration of any guarantee depends on the treatment method and materials used. Specific guarantee terms are explained in the quotation and confirmed in writing on completion. Guarantees cover defects in workmanship and materials as specified. They do not cover: - Damage caused by subsequent building work carried out by others - Alterations to the treated area that compromise the installed system - Failure to maintain the property in reasonable condition (for example, allowing gutters or drainage to fall into disrepair) - Issues arising from pre-existing structural movement or defects not identified during the original survey Limitation of liability ----------------------- Our liability is limited to the value of the contract for the work carried out. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of use of property, or costs arising from delay, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Cancellation policy ------------------- You may cancel a booking before work begins. If you cancel within 14 days of agreeing to the work (and work has not yet started), you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit paid, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you cancel after the 14-day cooling-off period but before work has started, any deposit paid may be retained to cover reasonable costs already incurred (for example, materials ordered specifically for your project). Once work has commenced, cancellation terms will depend on the stage of the project. We will discuss any costs fairly and transparently. Access and site conditions -------------------------- You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area. If access is restricted or site conditions differ materially from those observed during the survey, we may need to adjust the scope, cost, or timeline of the work. We take all complaints seriously and will work to resolve any issues promptly and fairly. Governing law ------------- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
